Fennel Whole Seeds
The fragrant, botanical flavor of Rumi Spice Wild Foraged Fennel Whole Seed is perfect for cocktails. To incorporate this unique spice into your tipple of choice, you must make a simple fennel seed syrup.
You will need:
1 tbsp Rumi Spice Wild Foraged Fennel Whole Seed
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1. Coarsely grind your fennel seeds in a mortar and pestle.
2. Add seeds, water, and sugar to a small saucepan and bring to the boil.
3. Turn off the heat and leave the mixture to cool - stir to ensure all sugar has dissolved.
4. Pour through a fine-mesh strainer to remove the seeds.
Your aromatic anise-flavored syrup is ready to use. Add to your favorite gin and tonic and enjoy!
