Organic Basil
Dried basil has a slightly different flavor from fresh basil. It is more intense and has a more minty and less sweet flavor than the fresh stuff.
If your recipe calls for fresh basil, you can substitute it for Watkins Organic Basil Leaves, but you’ll need about ⅓ less, to account for the intensity of flavor. You should also take note that fresh basil is usually added at the end of cooking, whereas dried basil can be added earlier, to allow time for the flavors to infuse.
